The name Sapphire Dust emulates the luxurious essence of the brand and also alludes to the unique and patented formula, that for the first time, uses sapphire microparticles as a natural mineral and active ingredient in skincare.

Sapphire Dust Founder & CEO

Founder of Sapphire Dust, Dr. Dayal Mukherjee brings unparalleled expertise to the world of luxury cosmeceuticals. With a surgical and medical degree from King's College London and an MSc in Surgical Technology from Imperial College London, Dr. Mukherjee honed his skills as a cardiac surgeon for the NHS. His original clinical research work won him international recognition, including an award from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Ever ambitious to expand his medical expertise, and armed with an inherent entrepreneurial spirit, he decided to explore his interest in skin health, establishing himself as an aesthetic physician. At the age of just 29, Dr Mukherjee opened his private cosmetic practice in the heart of the aesthetic industry on Harley Street in London, treating patients with personalised, minimally invasive treatments.

During his decade of practice, Dr. Dayal gained an in-depth understanding of the growing need for at-home skincare products that are clinically functional.

His mission became to find cosmeceutical answers to unaddressed consumer skincare needs - to deconstuct and demystify clinical grade skincare to make it easy for the beauty consumer.

The result - after 8 years of research, development and thorough clinical studies - is Sapphire Dust, a skincare brand focused on perfecting an equal partnership of cosmeceutical science and easy-to-use, luxury products.
